Did you know?

Many of the popular lash glues on the market have a mixture of chemicals that put you at risk for inflammation, irritation, allergic reaction and infection. Many contain ammonia, formaldehyde, lead, and sodium dodecylbenzenesulfanate all of which cause skin irritation, redness, and swelling.

Salon-style lash extensions and strip lashes also put you at risk for lash loss! The tension of the glue on and around the lashes and lash line can cause them to fall out, be pulled out and run the risk of never growing back if the follicle has been damaged.

When you put chemical-filled lash glue on your eyelid, you may also create a chemical reaction from the combination of the glue and any products used on the face. So even if you aren’t allergic to the glue itself, there’s still the risk of an adverse reaction.
